It was
such a thrill to put this interview together. Barry Tashian
of Barry and the Remains, one of my favorite 60s garage bands
(they toured with the Beatles you know) had agreed to do an
interview for our little zine after we sent him a no Hit Wonders
column written by Larry Brinkman (a.k.a. L.J. Hefner) focusing
on them. This was quite some time before the band regrouped
for several reunion gigs. I think our interest in them helped
them to realize that they were not as forgotten as they might
have thought!
